#slackware:matrix.org

I've just set up a new Slackware room in Matrix. The room address is:

#slackware:matrix.org

Anyone is invited to join. It's public and free. You're going to need a client for this. My recommendation is riot.im (great in Slackware64 -current), but there are plenty of others so you can choose from.

For the ones not acquainted with Matrix yet (not that one of Neo), this is from its FAQ:

Quote:

Matrix is an open standard for interoperable, decentralised, real-time communication over IP. It can be used to power Instant Messaging, VoIP/WebRTC signalling, Internet of Things communication - or anywhere you need a standard HTTP API for publishing and subscribing to data whilst tracking the conversation history.
PS: as I'm the one who set the room up, I'm the only moderator for now. I do not want that role, so if anyone is interested, let me know.

You are not invited to this room.
Also, it doesn't seem to show up in the room directory list.

Sorry for that, @drgibbon! I forgot to set 'Anyone who knows the room's link, including guests' flag. With that setting in place, the room also show up in the public directory, so all should be fine now.

Try again please.
