slackware mailing list working?

just wondering if the mailing list is working fine for everyone...

i used to get mail everytime patches were released but i haven't received anything in a very long time (months) even though patches have been issued...

i just checked and i'm still subscribed so i'm wondering if anyone is experiencing the same issue...

i'm subscribed to both slackware-security and slackware-announce...

the last message i received from the security list is the one for the "elm mailer" patch on 11/7/05...

i have just (5 minutes ago) received a volley of messages from the slackware security team relating to the latest round of patches (kdelibs, firefox, xpdf, etc.)...

i guess it's back to business as usual now... :)

did you get the messages too??

Yep, I just got 9 notices about an hour ago. But I noticed the relative quietness of the list before that as well, same with LWN.net. Maybe it's been a slow exploit month?

From the Changelog:

Quote:

Sorry to have delayed the advisories, but these bugs had to
be fixed first. IMHO, the security issues are of dubious severity anyway,
or a more agressive approach would have been taken (though this would likely
have caused a lot of people to upgrade to the broken -1 or -2 package
revisions, so anyone who didn't know about this until now was probably saved
a hassle.)

I have also got the notice of upgrading software today :) .However,as win32sux said,I noticed that we didn't get any mail even the patches have been published.
