Slackware Install kernel package selection - scsi
I have a what I hope is not a stupid question. I downloaded the slackware 9.1 isos and proceded to boot. I selected the adaptec.s kernel so that my scsi hard drives are recognized. Everything is really cool until I get the the package selection screens. On these screens it only offers kernel-ide as an install option. This has a nice (NO SCSI) notifier right after it. That being the case, how do I get scsi support in the kernel I am installing? This is my first attempt to install slack so I may have just missed something.
When I get over this hurtle I will still need to figure out how to enable smp support. I am pretty sure its just compiling in a kernel mod.
Thanks for your feedback.
