It means you are on-line. Hover over it an see what it says.

BTW - Another option if you are using Firefox is to use UAControl :: Add-ons for Firefox. This allows per site control. It's was I use.

It went away, maybe it's back...

[EDIT]
... yup.

BTW, I directly edited pres.js -- the entries look like
Code:
user_pref("general.useragent.override", "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1/Slackware
Linux");
user_pref("general.useragent.vendor", "Slackware");
user_pref("general.useragent.vendorSub", "13.37");
(And, yes, I do know you're not supposed to do that)

Thanks! Weird however that it works here in this thread, but a previous thread I just replied to showed a Windows icon and now it's back to Slackware!

Cool I just love this thread...

Yeah, I remember doing this in another thread for 3.x.x and then it kind of morphed into a test thread for chrome/chromium too.

Why do we do this? Why is this so important to us?

Because we're fricken' Slackers~

Kindest regards,

When you use the quick reply, it will not show up. However, if you refresh the page after using quick reply, it will be there. It will also be there if you use the reply or quote button first, without a refresh.

There is a thread in the non-*NIX/general forum where members have been testing their icons.
