Slackware GDM theme for u all
Hi all...
I've made 2 GDM themes based on the slackware site (black and white).. i got REALLY bored of the happy gnome theme and all other distros have there own theme.. slackware didn't so here goes... there's screenshots and a package file to install it :-) http://www.nesware.net/odin/gdmslack.php |
|
nice one, did now..
i like the other two slackware themes there.. i did to themes.freshmeat.net before... |
I tried out those themes and I don't even use a graphical login - just wanted to see 'em on my box. If anything would get me to use gdm, they would. Excellent stuff. :)

told ya Gnome sucked ;-)
Told ya even so at the HKU, but you didn't believe me ;-) cheers goldy locks..! |

...were you in my class?... wearing army style clothes? if that's you.... damn how's life? |

life sucks, but hey, i'll survive... less time for linux since i've tried various educations now. but me and my army clothes *will* prosper! cheers. L. |
that's pretty cool....though too bad i dont use gdm, else i'd surely use this screen ;)

hey bob_smith.. send me an email (get if from my site)! catch up on shitty lifes outside the forum

How would it work with the graphical menu? One of the main complains I have about GDM is that its graphical menu shouldn't even constitute as a menu. You can't double-click on a name and have it log in. KDM, on the other hand, does have a graphical menu, because when you click on the account names, it actually responds.
|
if u make a greeter for KDM i'll add it to the package...
|
A very nice theme, using it now. Great to see you supporting the community. I havn't seen many slack greeters published other than the dropline one.
|
i never knew dropline... i've downloaded it 3 hours ago... it's still installing ;-) meanwhile i've made a new version of my package.. ready for download everyone.. 3 themes added!
... gonna have a look at drop line in a minute... 98% :-) |
i like dropline already
|
will do , sir :-)
