Slackware Gaim Package

Under help>about for the official Slackware Gaim package it says "Compiled with... GtkSpell: Disabled" Is there any simple way to enable it? Editing a config file somewhere?

download the source tarball, and the build script from the slackware mirrors.

Install gtkspell, then run the buildscript as root.

Should detect Gtkspell automatically

you need to download and install gtkspell first, it isn't part of the slackware distro.

i believe there's a package on linuxpackages.net, or google for the homepage and compile it yourself.

then jsut run the gaim.SlackBuild script from the slackware mirror
