tested binutils-2.26.1, no more problem with qt5-webkit: no trick necessary to build.

"builtins/builtext.h" exists and "read_builtin" is defined therein.

A google search didn't show anything on this problem. Any ideas?

nobodino 02-10-2021 12:09 AM

my latest build were made with glibc-2.33, I considered glibc-2.32 just a 'short transition', I'll give a look at.

nobodino 02-10-2021 01:10 AM

I've built the -current 'tools' this morning. No problem on my side?

nobodino 02-10-2021 09:54 AM

Concerning the problem with glibc-2.33 and openssh-8.4p1, has someone looked at those pages:

https://github.com/openssh/openssh-p...pr+is%3Aclosed

they are the closed tickets.

https://github.com/openssh/openssh-portable/pulls

they are the waiting 'pulls'.

nobodino 02-11-2021 04:18 PM

regression test up to "Tue Feb 9 20:43:33 UTC 2021": (x86_64 version) with glibc-2.33 (testing) + binutils-2.36.1

Everything builds fine with absolutly no regression in one single shot.

It's my second personal 'mass rebuild' with glibc-2.33_testing and binutils-2.36.1.

binutils-2.36.1 works much better than binutils-2.36

regression test up to "Tue Feb 16 20:57:36 UTC 2021: (x86_64 version)

Once more, everything builds fine with absolutly no regression in one single shot.

nobodino 03-07-2021 06:29 AM

regression test up to "Fri Mar 5 02:58:29 UTC 2021": (x86_64 version)

Excepted the problem of dconf-editor with vala-0.50.4, everything else builds fine.

nobodino 03-15-2021 12:51 AM

regression test up to "Fri Mar 12 23:01:08 UTC 2021" (x86_64 version)

Everything builds fine with absolutely no regression.

nobodino 03-23-2021 02:32 AM

regression test up to "Thu Mar 18 04:01:02 UTC 2021" (x86_64 version)

Everything builds fine with no regression.

nobodino 04-05-2021 01:22 AM

regression test up to "Fri Apr 2 20:58:03 UTC 2021" (x86_64 version)

the failures have already been reported:
- libblockdev: a sed line solve the problem
- fcitx and fcitx-configtool: remove of "-fPIC" option
- qt5-webkit: a patch is available for glib2-2.68.0 in another thread
- pan: failure due to new glib2-2.68.0 (patch available in another thread)
- spech-dispatcher: failure due to new glib2-2.68.0 (patch available in another thread)

Everything else is OK.

nobodino 04-05-2021 12:28 PM

Finally each package has a fix to build.

nobodino 04-11-2021 03:44 AM

regression test up to "Fri Apr 9 20:21:07 UTC 2021" (x86_64 version) with gcc-10.3.0 and kernel-5.11.12.

no regression at all.
