New tools error
Have a problem building new tools:
Changelog: Fri Feb 5 21:18:59 UTC Sfs downloaded: 202120210204 Quote:
A google search didn't show anything on this problem. Any ideas? |
my latest build were made with glibc-2.33, I considered glibc-2.32 just a 'short transition', I'll give a look at.
|
I've built the -current 'tools' this morning. No problem on my side?
|
Concerning the problem with glibc-2.33 and openssh-8.4p1, has someone looked at those pages:
https://github.com/openssh/openssh-p...pr+is%3Aclosed they are the closed tickets. https://github.com/openssh/openssh-portable/pulls they are the waiting 'pulls'. |
regression test up to "Tue Feb 9 20:43:33 UTC 2021": (x86_64 version) with glibc-2.33 (testing) + binutils-2.36.1
Everything builds fine with absolutly no regression in one single shot. It's my second personal 'mass rebuild' with glibc-2.33_testing and binutils-2.36.1. binutils-2.36.1 works much better than binutils-2.36 ---------------------- --- list-slackware 2021-02-11 16:42:31.388397998 +0100 +++ list-sfs 2021-02-11 21:37:42.967878174 +0100 @@ -1,5 +1,5 @@ a/aaa_base-14.2-x86_64-6.txz -a/aaa_glibc-solibs-2.32-x86_64-2.txz +a/aaa_glibc-solibs-2.33-x86_64-1_testing.txz a/aaa_libraries-15.0-x86_64-1.txz a/aaa_terminfo-6.2_20201219-x86_64-3.txz a/acl-2.2.53-x86_64-2.txz @@ -209,7 +209,7 @@ d/autoconf-2.69-noarch-3.txz d/autoconf-archive-2019.01.06-noarch-2.txz d/automake-1.16.2-noarch-2.txz -d/binutils-2.35.2-x86_64-1.txz +d/binutils-2.36.1-x86_64-2.txz d/bison-3.7.5-x86_64-1.txz d/ccache-4.2-x86_64-1.txz d/check-0.15.2-x86_64-2.txz @@ -711,9 +712,9 @@ l/glade-3.38.2-x86_64-2.txz l/glib-1.2.10-x86_64-8.txz l/glib2-2.66.6-x86_64-1.txz -l/glibc-2.32-x86_64-2.txz -l/glibc-i18n-2.32-x86_64-2.txz -l/glibc-profile-2.32-x86_64-2.txz +l/glibc-2.33-x86_64-1_testing.txz +l/glibc-i18n-2.33-x86_64-1_testing.txz +l/glibc-profile-2.33-x86_64-1_testing.txz l/glibmm-2.64.5-x86_64-2.txz l/glib-networking-2.66.0-x86_64-2.txz l/gmime-3.2.7-x86_64-3.txz ---------------------- |

Once more, everything builds fine with absolutly no regression in one single shot. |

Everything builds fine with no regression. |
regression test up to "Fri Apr 2 20:58:03 UTC 2021" (x86_64 version)
the failures have already been reported: - libblockdev: a sed line solve the problem - fcitx and fcitx-configtool: remove of "-fPIC" option - qt5-webkit: a patch is available for glib2-2.68.0 in another thread - pan: failure due to new glib2-2.68.0 (patch available in another thread) - spech-dispatcher: failure due to new glib2-2.68.0 (patch available in another thread) Everything else is OK. |
Finally each package has a fix to build.
