Slackware current, KDE bugs?
I just updated my system, and I'm having some problems with KDE, first Amarok does not play a few songs in my library, i tried playing the songs with another player and they work fine, and second, there's a bug with the KDE panel, when you have a fresh install of KDE, there appears a couple of launchers in the panel, I've tried to remove them but they always appear after a restart X, and for some reason i have two konqueror launchers instead of one for dolphin and one for konqueror.
Any ideas to solve this? |
The Amarok back end has been changed to gstreamer, so you'll want to grab the gst bad/ugly plugins from slackbuilds if you want to play mp3s.
As for the two icons on your panel, remove the task manager (not the whole panel) and add it back again with the 'add widgets' button. |
For the two konqueror launchers problem, you have to select dolphin as your default file manager in the system settings and not konqueror.

There was a bug notice on first boot -- not remember exactly it was though; maybe it's because of *my* hardware. |
This bug doesn't happen on newly installation of Slackware 14.0 RC4 with latest update
probably caused by migration from old KDE config files |

Thank you for all your help, i already fixed this problems (Y) , Now I've discovered another bug? on XFCE when i have my num lock on (led is on) I can't type any numbers, and when the num lock is, well locked (led is off) i can type numbers, so it's basically working the opposite way it is supposed to. Any ideas? this is only in XFCE.
