Slackware-Current iso hangs on install

I used Alien_Bob's mirror script two days ago to create the dvd-iso. The install hung on bind and wouldn't go any further. Thinking it was a bad burn, I did another at 4x speed instead of auto. That didn't work either because the install still hung on bind.

Maybe something is wrong with the iso. Is it possible to re-create the iso? Maybe something is wrong with bind?

This is a known bug with the installation of the BIND package. As far as I am aware, nobody is sure why this actually happens yet, but it does occur from time to time.

To get the install going again, switch over to the second VT (Alt+F2) and then back. The installation should continue within a few seconds.

Thanks for the reply. I left out that the install is in virtualbox, but I'm gonna try that in a few moments.

Thanks MS3FGX! Worked like a charm!
The install is moving right along now. :)

n/bind-9.4.3_P2-i486-2.txz: Use /dev/urandom to stop blocking on install.

This indeed was a known problem.
The changelog of ARMedslack gives an explanation:
Quote:

n/bind-9.4.3_P1-arm-2.tgz: Patched install script to use /dev/urandom
so that rndc-confgen doesn't hang during the installer.
When the Slackware installer is running, most ARM devices have very
little going on that will generate enough interrupts for the random
entropy pool, so the install script would sit for hours, possibly
indefinitely.
Without the patch, generating some interrupts will work (changing tty, clicking the mouse, etc.)
