Slackware current goes to KDE login screen when I Esc from full-screen youtube videos

Hello:

When watching youtube videos, after switching to 'full-screen mode', if I press 'Esc' to return to regular screen viewing, my screen goes blank and then, after a few seconds, the KDE login screen appears and I need to log back in.

My 'Esc' button seems to be a little too powerful!

Is there a 'fix' for this?

Update: This problem happens when viewing videos in Chromium but not when using Chrome.

Thanks,

I don't know the answer, but you should probably mention what graphics card you are using (Intel, Nvidia ...)

Hello Robert.Thompson,

I suppose you boot into runlevel 4. The described behavior means that your X-server crashes.

I have such issues with my ATI-Radeon HD5470 graphics-adapter when I use the fglrx Ati-driver on 64bit Slackware (X-server crashes when iconified programs are maximized). As brixtoncalling stated it would be good if you could provide more information about your graphics-hardware and the drivers/modules.
