Slackware-current: ghostscript 9.02 upgrade result in missing print filter

After upgrade to ghostscript 9.02 from current all print jobs fail with:
'There is a missing print filter for printer HP_F2480'

The printer is an All-inone deskjet F2480 and the cups printer queue has been
setup with the hplip tools.
Before the upgrade it was 'working' with quite a few bugs...eg image not printed
correct, multipage printing garbage. (page for page printing was the workaround)

Do I need to remove the printer and define it again?

The missing filter seems related to pstoraster
E [25/Jun/2011:11:34:23 +0200] Unable to execute /usr/lib/cups/filter/pstoraster
: No such file or directory
E [25/Jun/2011:11:34:23 +0200] [Job 194] Unable to start filter "pstoraster" - N
o such file or directory.
E [25/Jun/2011:11:34:23 +0200] [Job 194] Stopping job because the scheduler coul
d not execute a filter.

I will remove the printer and try to add it again.

Ghostscript 9.00 package includes:
tar tvf ghostscript-9.00-i486-2.tar | grep psto
-rw-r--r-- root/root 946 2010-12-28 21:03 etc/cups/pstoraster.convs
-rwxr-xr-x root/root 1868 2010-12-28 21:03 usr/lib/cups/filter/pstoraster
-rwxr-xr-x root/root 6420 2010-12-28 21:03 usr/lib/cups/filter/pstopxl

Ghostscript 9.02 package includes:
cd /var/adm/packages/
bash-4.1# grep psto ghostscript-9.02-i486-1
usr/lib/cups/filter/pstopxl

I copied the pstoraster from 9.00 to /usr/lib/cups/filter and printing seems to work again.
a 3 page printed...without garbage on page 2,3 a major improvement for me

Anybody an idea why 'pstoraster' is missing from the ghostscript-9.02 package?
