slackware-current:gaim error

In slackware-current,I use gaim with msn. When I send a message to friend, gaim crashes. X window prints the following message:
Working around an application with called XSetInputFocus(None) or with RevertToNone instead of RevertToPointerRoot, this is a minor bug in some application. If you can figure out which application cause this please report it as a bug against the application.

how to fix it?

version is gaim-1.0.2-i486-1.tgz, I try a few times and find it is because of sound. When I send a message, system will sound, gaim crashes.

Try building Gaim from source. You'll also want to of course make sure you're using the right or latest version of GTK.
