The /etc/slackware-version has shown 13.0 since this update:
Code:
Tue Aug 11 01:04:25 CDT 2009
a/etc-13.0-noarch-1.txz: Upgraded.
Added root to power, netdev, and scanner groups in /etc/group.
what about this update from June 11? would this determine what version the install is? i mean i know Patrick makes that determination, but when aaa_base gets an update like this, what does it mean?
Code:
Tue Jun 16 17:50:30 CDT 2009
a/aaa_base-13.0-noarch-1.txz: Rebuilt. Updated slackware-version.

Whoops... I missed that one. That is when it must have first changed.
If you prefer the manual way, just keep following the current changelog up until August 26th and then you will have Slackware 13.0.
Yes, I've rsync'd my packages already, just wondering if there was something special other than usual upgrading that needs to be done because I'm going from -current to 13.0, rather than from 12.2 to 13.0.
