[SOLVED] slackware current 9-2015 kde problems

looked around in the forums for a while then gave up. so here the problem.
in the dolphin the search is pretty much broken.
ctrl f and look for a file never finds it. search content also broken.

any suggestions. eyes wide open

Seems during the upgrades. the ~.kde some of the config's are broken. Most likely the baloorc. I just started fresh and deleted the .kde folder and let kde set everything back to default. only takes a few to reset thing up again but search is back. I also cleaned out the /tmp incase of a dead socket.
