Slackware-current 64, libgpm.so.1 in wrong place?

When I try and start links I get this error:
links: error while loading shared libraries: libgpm.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

This library is found in /lib64, should it not be in /usr/lib64?
Just a small bug.

no, I think is correct: this is from my slackware64 current (with stock links):

Code:
$ ldd /usr/bin/links
        linux-vdso.so.1 =>  (0x00007fff3edff000)
        libtiff.so.3 => /usr/lib64/libtiff.so.3 (0x00007fec5ed1d000)
        libjpeg.so.62 => /usr/lib64/libjpeg.so.62 (0x00007fec5eafb000)
        libpng12.so.0 => /usr/lib64/libpng12.so.0 (0x00007fec5e8c0000)
        libz.so.1 => /usr/lib64/libz.so.1 (0x00007fec5e6ac000)
        libbz2.so.1 => /lib64/libbz2.so.1 (0x00007fec5e49c000)
        libssl.so.0 => /usr/lib64/libssl.so.0 (0x00007fec5e24d000)
        libcrypto.so.0 => /usr/lib64/libcrypto.so.0 (0x00007fec5dec8000)
        libdl.so.2 => /lib64/libdl.so.2 (0x00007fec5dcc4000)
        libgpm.so.1 => /lib64/libgpm.so.1 (0x00007fec5dabe000)
        libm.so.6 => /lib64/libm.so.6 (0x00007fec5d839000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib64/libc.so.6 (0x00007fec5d4c9000)
        /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00007fec5ef76000)
Code:
$ grep libgpm /var/log/packages/*
/var/log/packages/aaa_elflibs-12.34-x86_64-2:lib64/libgpm.so.1.19.0
/var/log/packages/gpm-1.20.1-x86_64-5:usr/lib64/libgpm.a
/var/log/packages/gpm-1.20.1-x86_64-5:lib64/libgpm.so.1.19.0
Code:
$ grep 'usr/bin/links' /var/log/packages/*
/var/log/packages/links-2.2-x86_64-1:usr/bin/links

I just figured out what the problem was...
I stupidly had my slackpkg mirror set as http://..../slackware-current instead of slackware64-current Thus I had a messed up version of links installed.
