slackware book


where can I download the slackware book found at
http://slackware.com/book
for reading offline
or dose anyone know what command line I should use with wget to download a readable copy
of it
the copy I tryed to get came up showing html source code in my web browsers

It is on the third Slackware cdrom and it is in html format.

Well thank you for your replies
I don't have the CDs I have the whole distro on an extra hard drive
I need it for reading on a laptop that dosen't have ram,CPU speed,disk space,display for a viewer or PDFs for that matter (plus I hate PDFs even the best viewers are a pain in the ass)
(IBM 350c 80486-25Mhz 16Mb ram 200MB hard drive 640x480 vga ) so I need it in html format

Was the file extension .html, or something else?

I forget so I'll wget another copy
wgot it
all the files are named "index.php?source\=x????.html" where ???? is some hex number

could it be that wget is translating it wrong ?

Could be, here is a how to that is simply text. You could try it. It's basically the same info in a text form.
