Slackware blocking internet or settings incorrect for Java Wireless Toolkit?
I have been messing around for the past few months trying to get Sun's Java Wireless Toolkit to work in Linux. I have the Java runtime environment installed on my Standard Slackware 12.0 box and the wireless toolkit also installed.

When I try to run my .jar and .jad files they cant access the server(over the internet). I dont think the WTK is getting access to my network. Firefox can get to the internet, and I tested the .jar and .jad files in windows with the wireless toolkit and that also works.

It has to be some setting in slack itself. I have looked in the sun WTK settings and they are all standard just like the windows one. My firewall on the router is not blocking the ports when I run it in windows but I dont know which port its using for Linux.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated. I just got stumped by this.

Thank you,
