slackware as freeNAS


hi every body
now i want to configure my slackware 12.1 to work as freeNAS
something like to appear slackware partition as windows partition on my small network
an ideas??

Samba is what you need.

Google it. There's an abundance of tutorials and howtos for it.

i made slackware ftp server but i want /home/somedirectory to appear as a partition in other windows pcs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????

i am sorry but i found the document difficult so i searched for an easier one
when i finished reading it i returned back to it but i understand a little from it
