Slackware and software defined radio.

I just got my DVB dongle and am curious if anyone else is playing with SDR. If so, what are you guys/gals using? I have SDR# installed and just started messing with it. I also watched a couple of planes near my house with this.

p.s. This is the dongle I got: dvb dongle

I use GQRX, which I've had very good results with. I wrote a guide about setting it and RTL-SDR up (not specific to Slackware) which might be interesting to you. How has SDR# been working for you?

dump1090 looks like very cool software, I'll have to give that a shot.

SDR# is pretty good so far. I had to install a ton of stuff for mono. I'll check out GQRX though. It's kind of funny. I was trying to build GNURadio earlier today, and it's a huge pain to configure. I think I'm going to use the script you talked about in your guide.
