Slackware 9 and GnuCash

I have tried to install gnucash 1.6.8 and 1.8.2 on slackware 9.

i can install the g-wrap and slib libraries correctly, but it asks for gnome-config which isn't found, i can't find out how to put it on my system, or what package is it a part of..

i have a /usr/share/docs/... file on it and a /usr/... gnome-config.h file on it, but no executable..

if anyone can help please let me know...

Probably these versions of gnucash need GNOME 1.4 libraries to work or compile. It is possible to install missing libraries from previous version of Slack. Look at the dependencies info in "readme" or "install" in gnucash download directory which libraries are needed.

I followed the guide step by step until I got to the part where I'm supposed to compile OpenSP (for ofx). ./configure works ok.. Make returns the following error:
