Like I always state when someone asks such questions.
No one here knows release dates. Patrick himself never knows and he's been quoted on this. Same goes for Linus with the kernel. With open source software, it all depends on when the maintainer feels its stable, been tested enough and ready to be released. As far as we all don't know, there might not be a 9.2 but rather maybe a 10, etc. You have to realize that free software with such things are not being developed on a corporate type level or atmosphere. There isn't a boss or supervisor breathing down their necks to meet deadlines, there are no deadlines when your coding such projects for free, giving away for free, etc.
No one is going to know til Patrick releases it and I'm sure at this point its still some time away as I've see no pre-release candidates being released currently, etc.
PS. Moving to Slackware, where this is more suitable.
PSS. And for those who like to ask this same question on other projects, the same logic applies as well that was explained in this post.
It will likely be called slackware 10 based on past releases. If your bored with 9.1 why not move to current? There really won't be all that much difference between 9.1 and 10 that you can actually see I don't think, correct me if i'm wrong.

I can't get a 100 dollar usb kb to work in slackware. kernel is flooded with "usb_control/bulk_msg:timeout" messages and causes usb mouse to stop working too. usb kb works fine in gentoo, fedora, and mdk, just not slack. looks like I'm ditching slackware unless I can get this working.
Originally posted by snocked Yes, it does. It's my reason for wanting to know when 9.2 is coming out so I can give slack one more shot before I move on to Gentoo exclusively.
All devices have to work out of the box without any tweaking ....... okay. HEHEHEHE
And your choices are Slackware and Gentoo ....HAHAHAHAHA
Are you serious or just trolling.

There have been identical threads already posted and I've tried everything suggested. All I said was that I wasn't looking to start a thread to remedy the problem; I never said that I didn't want to fix it.
