Do you know how to install this printer under Slackware 9.1?

Binary driver that worked with RH 9.0 and Mandrake 9.1 doesn't seem to work. During the installation error appears : "error: failed dependencies" and lists programs that are needed by the driver: enscript, ghostscript, some libraries, etc.
The problem is that I already have installed enscript and ghostscript, but somehow the driver cannot find them.

What can I do? maybe I should create symbolic links?

Do you know any other way to make Lexmark Z55 to work with slack distro?

I've downloaded Lexmark driver devlopment kit with sample driver.

I tried to use the sample drive, but with no luck. The reason of this is that Slackware doesn't use init.d, so the driver cannot put files there. I've thought that I could put the files into rc.d, but I'm not sure if it would work (I'm new to slackware and I know it's better too ask someone experienced, than play and make a mess).
