Slackware 9.0 problem...


Ok installed appeard to be perfect. Restarted and it imeediately begins scrolling the number 40 across the screen. That is all it's doing. No LILO was installed.

HELP ME ;/

If no lilo was install, then how do you expect it to boot up.

Did you create a floppy boot disk.. ? If not, you can boot using the install cd by doing something like this after booting to the cd:

boot: linux root=/dev/hdX

Where X is the actual drive and partition you have your root partition located at.
