slackware 8.1 internet problem

Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask FlagsMetric Ref
Use Iface * UH 0
0 0 ppp0
localnet * U 0
0 0 eth0
loopback * U 0
0 0 lo
default UG 1
0 0 eth0

Kernel IP routing table

i took these results from the route and netstat commands. I also change the resolv.conf file. But when i connected to the internet i can't see any page with lynx. I set up a network which has a and gateway....what do you think about the problem...thnx for helps....

Can you ping sites by name and get results, that might help to determine if its just not resolving names or maybe a internal network problem ? How about pinging your router or gateway ??

i can ping

i can ping just ip adresses...But i changed the resolv.conf file..i think the problem about routing...Because my ppp-on program wrote that not replacing existing route [] ...any idea?

the real problem is.....

I need help on diald.

Error message in /var/log/messages:
Serial connection established.
Using interface ppp0
Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/modem
not replacing existing default route to eth0 []
local IP address
remote IP address

When I run ppp-on, I got the message above. The problem is I cannot "ping"
to other network eg: What is the problem?
Please help.
