Slackware 2.4.22 command line screen font setting

Hello,

I am running Slackware 2.4.22. I would like to enlarge the screen font size (without totally reinstalling Linux). I probably mis-configured at setup time. Is there an easy way to accomplish this?

thankyou,

Gary

If you mean linux terminal font then try 'setconsolefont' as root.

For x fonts then you probably need to specify DPI setting in xorg.conf. In 'Device' section put

Option "DPI" "80 x 80"

Or which setting suits you best.

Screen fonts

Is there a compiled list of handy commands such as "setconsolefont", "adduser", etc?
