On the Slackware.com torrents page, the link for the 64-bit source DVD's torrent file is incorrectly linked to the Install DVD's torrent file.
EDIT: My mistake. Please ignore. (I did not realize that the Install link was all one link, thinking that the part in the the parentheses was a separate link.)
It's true I got the same error from bittorrent, but I used bittornado (also in the /extras) and it works fine.
I use 'bittorrent' and have never used 'bittornado'. 'bittornado' is modified off shoot of bittorrent, what is the difference?
Quote:

BitTornado (a modified version of the BitTorrent utility)
bittornado:
bittornado: BitTornado is a file distribution utility which utilizes the upload
bittornado: capacity of machines which are downloading a file to help distribute
bittornado: it to other downloading machines.

bittornado: BitTornado is TheSHAD0W's experimental version of Bram Cohen's BitTorrent utility.

Well, for one there are multiple interface methods: curses, CLI, GUI, headless. Two, it works in this situation without error, while the official bittorrent errors every time. That's enough of a difference for me to use it from now on, even tho I rarely use torrents nowadays.
EDIT:
I notice this option is enabled by default and may have something to do with why it works:
Code:
--breakup_seed_bitfield <arg>
sends an incomplete bitfield and then fills with have messages, in order to get around
stupid ISP manipulation (defaults to 1)
