I don't know if it works with Isomaster (never heard of that), but have a look here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...vd-4175422003/

Thanks for the link, I will take a look at that script.
My worry is with the dvd "boot sector".

I don't know if mounting an iso with boot sector
and then burning it's content will burn the boot sector too.

I use IsoMaster to edit iso images and Nero proprietary nrg images.

Hi,

@Paul02
I cannot speak for PV & Team but believe it would have been done that way if there was space to do it. You would be better off just downloading the desired images and then burn them.

Or order copies from the Slackware Store.

Hi onebuck, I think the three dvds together, 32 and 64 install and source dvd
doens't fit in one double layer dvd, but 32install+source or 64+source will fit,
the final size is about 5,5GB.

Maybe this huge iso isn't available for the size of file, or maybe because
double layer dvd isn't reliable. I've heard a lot of people getting trouble
with backups in double layer dvd, but I never had such problem.

I'm from Brazil and have no credit card, so I'm figuring out how buy some
stuff at Slackware store. The End of World Mayan t-shirt is very cool

Hi,

@Paulo2
I agree but the capability to download the ISO image of choice is better than trying to include the ISO arch & source. Not everyone needs the source so PV has provided the means to get source(required to abide by the Gnu/Gpl). That way the trimming at this point to try an include everything within one ISO image makes growth doable. Not everyone will facilitate 2xDVD/Blueray. More than one way to skin a cat! Note to PETA members: 'No cats are harmed at this point in time.'
I have downloaded the tree and can get the source with no problem. I will either use the LAN or sneaker net whenever the source is needed. You might consider a USB Flash for the source since you can update over the net when ever necessary.

A little late to the fight, but now seeding both 32 and 64 bit DVDs.

Yeah, go Pat.

Cheers.

Whilst you could create a DVD image from your local mirror you cannot use this to seed. It will not be byte for byte identical with the official iso. If you want to seed, download the official iso and then seed that.

You can use sligdo (a customized version of jigdo) to create a ISO image that is byte-for-byte identical to the Slackware ISO image if you have a local Slackware mirror setup.

Sligdo data files for several recent versions of Slackware on a fast mirror: http://taper.alienbase.nl/mirrors/slackware/sligdo/

As with 13.37, I'm seeding both the 32 and 64-bit DVD ISOs... ratio is roughly 2.35/2.3 respectively.

I would love to help with the torrents but I don't think my upload speed is fast enough (I would be taking and not giving).

This is the result I get from speedtest.net/
