Running 32 bit slackware 14.1 on virtualbox under win7 64 bit OS, set networked setting to "Bridged Adapter" mode with the following hardware:

Aetheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter

as detected by both windows AND virtualbox, but when I boot slackware i do not see my device in lspci, all I see is something called

00:03.0 Ethernet Controller: AMD [Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.] 79c970 [PCnet32 LANCE] (rev 10)

and some other junk. Even when i unload pcnet32 with modprobe and load ath9k drivers I do not see my hardware in lspci. Is this something peculiar to virtualbox or the fact that im running a 32 bit guest on a 64bit host?

Looks like everything's working, I was just being foolish I guess. Even in bridged mode you do not get access to the actual hw, my eth0 IS via wireless network...
