Question Slackware 14.1 multilib Pcsxr gdk-pixbuf

Hello Everyone,

I'm having problems with a program called pcsxr. Pcsxr outputs
this on the terminal.

(pcsxr32:22304): Gtk-WARNING **: Could not load image 'pcsxr.png': Unable to load image-loading module: /usr/lib64/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/libpixbufloader-png.so: /usr/lib64/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/libpixbufloader-png.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64

I have both the 32bit and 64bit gdk-pixbuf packages installed.

Another problem i have is that i'm using eternal spu with pcsxr and
when the oss is selected for the sound output there is no sound coming from the system.

BTW: I know there is a 64bit version of pcsxr but unfortuanately
Eternal SPU is only 32bit so i need the 32bit version of pcsxr to run.

How did you install pcsxr? From www.slackbuilds.org?

Question

Hello Daedra,

It's a custom install which a had made for the 32 bit version because i also have the 64 bit version installed made by Slackbuilds. And i had both versions running properly in Slackware 14.0 but when i upgrade to slackware 14.1 it's having these issues.

Question

Hello Everyone,

I have gotten pcsxr 32bit to load the icons now. What i did was i went to the
/usr/lib/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders.cache file and manually edited it.

For all references to

/usr/lib64/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/ to /usr/lib/gdk-pixbuf-2.0/2.10.0/loaders/

I don't understand why the 32 bit gdk-pixbuf directory has the same loaders.cache file as the 64bit gdk-pixbuf.

Using "update-gdk-pixbuf-loaders-32 --update-cache" as root should fix the problem without having to manually edit the file. I still don't know why i have to do this on Slackware 14.1 but not on Slackware 14.0. Do you guys have any ideas why?
