WooHoo! Thanks to the Slackware Team and all the LQ helpers. All my machines are humming smoothly on 14.1.

Give them a little time! Slackbuilds necessarily follows Slackware after a release. I think they will not be far behind.

With the 14.0 release it took a few weeks before Slackbuilds.org was "open for business" for the new release. The 14.1 release will probably have a similar delay.

I'm sure all the 14.0 SlackBuilds work on 14.1.

SlackBuilds.org, however, needs a testing period to make sure.

Isn't it exciting to open change log and see the new release announcement instead. Fabulous work from Patrick, and his team. Downloading 64-bit DVD from torrent.

So far all the packages I've installed have built fine on 14.1

Thanx to Pat & team. Good job! Just did an upgrade on a "testing" machine and it looks nice and healthy. I'm planning a clean install in a few weeks on another one.

Not all SlackBuild for 14.0 will work on 14.1, but most of them will
Yes, the admins are busy with testing all of the SlackBuilds before they are opened for public
Meanwhile, you can track their progress on the GIT repository (master branch): http://slackbuilds.org/cgit/slackbuilds/
