Question Slackware 14.1 Canon MP-495 Multi-function Printer Setup Issues

I just finished upgrading to Slackware64 14.1 from 13.37. One thing I noticed was that scanner quit working after the upgrade. When running "scangearmp" from the terminal, I get the following error:

Code:
scangearmp: error while loading shared libraries: libpangox-1.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Anyone run into this issue? I've done some searing on LQ, but haven't found a good solution yet. I am wondering if it is related to multilib. That is one thing I haven't upgraded since switching to 14.1. I'll probably give that a shot tomorrow.

Thanks for the help willysr! I installed the pangox-compat SlackBuild and my scanner works again.

Just as a note for anyone who needs to do this in the future, the SlackBuild script link is broken on the SlackBuilds site. They have it linked under 14.0/System when it should be 14.0/Libraries. Here is a link to the FTP tarball with the entire SlackBuild in it. Just remember to download the source file as it's not included. ftp://slackbuilds.org/14.0/libraries...-compat.tar.gz

I'll report the broken link to SlackBuilds, hopefully they will fix it.
