Slackware 14.0 32 bit - Thunar 1.4.0 - file truncations, no refresh

I freshly installed Slackware 14.0 32 bit with Xfce 4.10 and Thunar 1.4.0.
When doing a copy & paste or drag & drop of a file between file systems the "target" windows shows a smaller filesize than the "source" window. Refreshing the "target" window (F5 or Ctrl+R) does not help. In a terminal window I can see the correct filesize. After closing all Thunar windows and opening the "target" window again shows the correct filesize.
However, I have also seen cases where the "target" file was really truncated.
Any comments will be appreciated.

When booting up my Slackware 14.00 I find that the font size for the login screen is about 1/3 the sixe of the Probe screens font size. In consequence I have some difficulty in reading it. Can anything be done to alter this situation. Note: This also happened with Slackware 13.37 but as far as I can remember, it did not happen with earlier versions. I have tried different monitors but the effect is the same, whatever. A[albert] J. Newell

@burdi01 - This has a similarity with what I posted here.http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ed-4175428660/

I think that it is probably a bug in Thunar.

@albertn - This is not related to the problem that the OP posted. Slackware-13.37 and later have kernels that use KMS (kernel mode setting). You are seeing the switch between the BIOS fonts used by lilo to the kernel framebuffer. If you want larger fonts, then try adding an option like " video=1024x768" to the "append = ..." line in your /etc/lilo.conf, rerun 'lilo' and reboot.
See /usr/src/linux/Documentation/fb/modedb.txt for further information.

See http://www.salixos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4077 for a solution.
