Question Slackware 13 x64 Hardware Raid Install???

Ok I have been searching all over the web for a week now and would like to know how to do a Raid 0 install with Slackware. I know I must use the raid.s kernel and what not but not sure what else it entails to do this? Could someone shine some light for me?

Hardware RAID? or on-board firmware RAID? Hardware raid shouldn't need anything special as the raid device should look like any other hard drive. On board firmware Raid needs dmraid, and there are some threads on that for slackware 12+ that are well worth looking at on this forum.

BTW, welcome to LQ

Sweet I will have to see if I can find those posts about it. I have a Crosshair 3 motherboard with raid support so would love to do a Raid 0 with slackware.

Thank you for welcoming to the forums!!!

[ Hope this helps: Copied from an old post of mine, similar subject, wouldn't want to plagiarize myself ]
Well, you can look at this:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...k-12.0-586440/

While the above says RAID 1, it works equally well for RAID 0.

Or this
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ghlight=691282

The Slackware iso has Raid instructions as well, I think README_RAID.TXT or something like that
