I'm so eager as anyone here. Slackware 13.37 will help me a lot in my project.
But calm is needed, Pat will release when it's ready.
Maybe he will put firefox 4.1 that came out recently or doing some debug process, I don't know but to various countdowns will no speedup the process.

Can't be right. More SQ should be sooner release and more KNOL should be later. Are you sure the numerator and denominator are the right way round ??

OK everybody,

I suggest that from now on, this thread be used only to report remaining bugs in Slackware-current, if any.

PS I'm including myself in everybody
PS2 Omit to report a showstopper only to have Slackware-13.37 released sooner would not be considered fair practice.

I think it would be better to wait around a week after that for people to realize and get sick of the amount of breakage and for Slackware 13.37 to emerge as the obvious solution.

I wonder if this prolonged wait has anything to do with Pat trying to contact Piter Punk, the Slackpkg maintainer? Four days ago I discovered a few errors with /etc/slackpkg/mirrors (namely non-existent mirrors, and many a neglected alternative protocol) that I emailed Pat (and Piter) about. Pat said he hasn't heard from Piter for over a week, and didn't expect my corrections to make it into Slackware 13.37. That still doesn't rule me out as the reason for stopping the presses though...
Out of curiosity, who would prefer Pat to wait for Piter to rebuild Slackpkg with my updated mirror list before releasing Slackware 13.37? (I've attached the best version to this post for the personal use of fellow Slackers, should they choose to use it.)

I doubt it's that Jaycee.
Personally, I think it's because after all the talk of 'caves closing' and Grues he started playing 'adventure' from the bsd-games package and found that the save game option results in a segfault!.

We are just 3 weeks and 5 days short of the one year anniversary of the release of 13.1.
We might as well wait.

Traditionally, it did! Then you had to save your core file to restart from.

I know right. But unlike before a new Slackware release would come out and I would take about 6 months to upgrade to it. Now I have a semi-new system I cannot wait for the new release because I messed up some settings with my 13.1 install, so I am not using it as I should and I don't want to upgrade. I gonna do clean install then get my settings kosher and and finally put my 1TB Linux HD to good use.
