Slackware 11 with mysql-gui-tools-5.or8

Has anyone got Mysql-gui-tools working with Slackare 11 ? Just installed the packages from Linuxpackages.net (Slackbuild) and all the apps give me "cannot execute binary file" when I try to run them. Checked permissions etc and all seem well. Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance...

I've been using the binaries from the Mysql tool page and they work just fine on Slackware 11. Well, at least mysql administrator does, I really haven't used the others.

Thanks for the reply - i have just downloaded the "Generic x86 Linux TAR (bundled dependencies)" from your link and untarred it to a /home/me/sqlgui directory. Thing is there seems to be no installation scripts/instructions with this binary so how do I install it ? Sorry if this is a dumb question but all my installations so far have either been via compilation (configure/make/make install) or .tgz packages. Have I downloaded the wrong version of am I missing a very obvious point ?
Thanks again for your help.

You probably downloaded the right thing. Look in the /home/me/sqlgui/bin directory for the executables. They should be ready to go and you don't need to do any further installation. Now if more than one account needs access to this, you could untar the archive in a more public directory like /usr/local and have people start it from there.
