Slackware 10 Installation: keyboard not responsive

Excitedly created cd's from iso's last night to load Slackware. It boots to CD, keyboard is responsive initially, hit ENTER at boot: prompt, watch loader detect hardware, usb, fireware, then sits at KEYBOARD SELECTION. Keyboard will not respond at this point.

I have a Dell 8250 P4, PS/2 keyboard, nothing weird. Any ideas?

Wink

If you have a keyboard that is not ps2 try plugging it and see if it recognizes it.
If it does, continue the installation and when you are done let the hardware detection tool (at boot time) do its work.
That's what I would do

Found solution

All I had to do was the following:
When the CD booted up to the boot: prompt, launch setup with nousb noieee1394 options. I think they were the culprit.
