slackware 10: dynamic IP address detection

Can someone tell me how to detect my dynamic IP address in slackware 10. I telnet to my company and try to export DISPLAY to my pc. Thanks!

ifconfig will tell you the aaddresses of all configured interfaces. ifconfig eth0 would tell you the address of just eth0
