slackware 10.2 and gnumeric

I've browsed the KDE-apps and found some apps that solved the problem for a while but I need to get "serious" now. I was suggested to use gnumeric, but so far it has proven to be a pain to get installed... :S I have followed this For simplicity, I have downloaed these packages: Quote:

I am thinking about installing Freerock Gnome. That should solve my 'problem', right? Thanks and sorry for the long post... **Cat** |
What about your error message? Does /usr/lib/libgnome-2.so.0 exist? It should be a symbolic link pointing at libgnome-2.so.0.$version

You may find www.amigolinux.org helpful for getting Gnumeric installed and running. It has packages that are a bit more updated, and tested specifically for getting GNOME compatibility on Slackware. The actual packages you want are at
