Slackbuild Template creator webpage

Hi forum

I vaguely recall finding a webpage that woyld create a slackbuild script from data we fill in, like package name, version, site of download, purpose of the package, etc.

...I can't find this webpage anymore... can somebody point it to me... ?

I want to create a slackbuild of src2pkg, and then use it to create pkg from gts library... as a test...

Also, one more question... when using src2pkg ( instead of the more classical configure, make, install, approach ) how do I pass configuration options to the package to be built...?

Ex In BrlCAD ( whic I want to src2pkg, I use the options --with-x11, --with-ogl, --enable-optimized in ./configure... ; using #src2pkg brlcad-x.y.tar.gz, how do i specify these configuration options...?

BRGDS

Alex

Use the -e flag to pass configure options.

The latest src2pkg can generate SlackBuilds, I haven't used that feature myself so I don't know in what situations it can break.

Alex
here you go. fill in the details and generate your slackbuild, slack-desc and doinst.sh.

EDIT: I have used this tool myself and found it very useful, however i think one should have some idea as to what the slackbuild does each step of the way.
