SlackBuild submission problem

I encountered the problem with submission of my SlackBuild. I submitted earlier a lot of SlackBuilds without problem. That last SlackBuild contains additional README.SlackBuild as well as the directory with some icons. I tried to submit it as .tar.gz, tar.bz2, and .tar file. In each case I see in response the comment:

Quote:

Invalid MIME Type; upload a tar archive, optionally compressed with gzip or bzip2.
How can I prepare the archive including additional files to submit it successfully?

I assume you are talking about a submission to the site slackbuilds.org? If so, this forum is really not the place to ask for help. SlackBuilds.org is not related to this forum (although of course many of the same people hang out here). I would jump into IRC and go to #slackbuilds on freenode, or join the slackbuilds.org mailing list.

I asked my question here because I suppose some LinuxQuestions members have experience in creating and submitting SlackBuilds.

Send the tarball attached to an email in the SBo mailing list.
That will work. Maybe it doesnt work cause of the icons.

FWIW I too experienced a problem submitting an update today - mine was rejected for email address problems - failed on two different addresses and hosts. I think there might be a problem.

Today SlackBuilds rejected my three e-mail addresses so I used fourth e-mail to submit a few applications.

I'm pretty sure my problem concerns those icons. I tried to put them in separate directory as well as in .tar.gz file inside .tar.gz SlackBuild. All those SlackBuilds were rejected by SlackBuilds.org. I'm surprised because SlackBuild for MPlayer contains archive with the theme Blue. So there is some method of submit such SlackBuild.

I found that you had to have everything incredibly precise for the tarball to be accepted. Make sure you follow their instructions to the letter, and watch out for typos.

I read about these conditions carefully. Moreover I submitted today sixteen SlackBuilds successfully. All of them are now on list of submissions pending approval. Unfortunately I can't submit seventeen one because it contains additional files.

On SlackBuilds.org I read:

Quote:

All submissions should be an archive, compressed or uncompressed - either one is fine - (tar, tar.gz, or tar.bz2) of a directory (named according to the application's name) containing at least the following files:
$PRGNAM.SlackBuild (for instance, rdesktop.SlackBuild)
slack-desc
README
$PRGNAM.info (for instance, rdesktop.info)
``At least'' means ``you could include some additional stuff''. As I wrote above MPlayer SlackBuild contain Blue theme tarball.

A few hours ago I started the registration process on SlackBuilds IRC Channel. Now I'm waiting for e-mail with my nickname activation. I registered e-mail address that I use on Internet forums. It's the same address that was rejected by SlackBuilds submitting engine. I wonder if SlackBuilds IRC Channel will accept it.

I just finished promising conversation on SlackBuilds IRC Channel. Somebody will check log files to diagnose the problem. Thank you guys for your assistance.
