Slackware related but that link within for Slackware Linux Basics is broken so still no reference to Slackware Linux Basics.

The book is a good reference but be aware it is based on Slackware 12.0. Sure some of the information can be applied but the differences between 12.0 and Slackware to date(14.2) are there.
