slack on vmware. no cursor prompt.


i installed slacware on vmware on xp prof. everything seemed fine. i rebooted i get the specs like processor speed, ram, cd type, and then a blank screen. no prompt for login or anything. i also dont see the linux specs list. any idea what went wrong?

it's ok. i figured it out. i didn't install the LILO booting system.
