slack on a proliant 6000
I'm trying to put slack 8.1 on a compaq proliant 6000. I have the scsi.s disk working, but what root disk do i need? I have tried color.gz.. but I'm far from winning..
Usually slack just works from the cd.. but no so for SCSI. Do i need the 5 install disks? Can i load the scsi disk and then point it to the cd for a root disk?
thanks!!
