Since we don't build ISO's for current there is unlikely to be a torrent for it.
Torrents are more suited for static content, not things that change as often as current when it's in development.
And yes the only published work for current has been the patches from 12.2 being applied to the main tree... doesn't mean that nothing is being worked on though
I found a torrent with 3000 seeders, but since I'm unable to verify its authenticity, I won't post the link. In fact, I'm downloading from the link I posted above.

You should not post an update to a 7-year dead thread. Read the LQ rules please.
You are downloading my ISO image btw... About torrents of slackware-current ISO images - that is a useless exercise because the ISO file is re-generated from scratch automatically every time there's an update in the slackware-current ChangeLog. Torrents should be setup for something longer-lasting than potentially a single day.

I am sorry. Sometimes I add to old threads, but only when I think it's relevant or adds to the discussion, or if some information in the thread is outdated. That thread came up in a search for me, so my intent was to update it for anyone else who may read it in the future. I think that creates a question, if threads older than six months are not updated, wouldn't that lead to many outdated or useless threads in the LQ forum?

Ah, thank you for making the current iso available, Alien Bob. I had assumed it was from you by the URL. Although we've never corresponded (to the best of my recollection), I've seen you around the forum, and know of your contributions to Slackware, and may have used some of your pre-built pacakges in the past (though normally I use sbopkg and Slackbuilds.org scripts), so thanks again!
Regarding the dvd, I wanted to convert my 32-bit installation to 64 and was too anxious to wait for 14.2 stable.

This again creates another question for me. I understand that current changes very often (I've used it before and sometimes view the ChangeLog), but the 'current' dvd you made available is not 'useless' because there won't be nearly as many changes made from now until stable release, and therefore I don't see how a torrent would be 'useless'. If a torrent had been available, I would have chosen to download and share it. And as I mentioned in my previous post, I found one torrent that ~3000 people were sharing, so they seem to be of the opinion that a torrent of slack-current - at that time - was worth downloading as a torrent and sharing.
So clearly I'm somewhat confused but I continue to try to understand the world of Linux and Slackware.
