Slack and Motorola Tracfone

Is it possible to retrieve pictures, etc from a Tracfone via Slackware using USB?

Depends upon the phone, as I discovered with my two Tracfones:

One of the phones has full support for transferring files using bluetooth and a USB adapter. The other phone does not and the designed/intended method for transferring files on that phone is email.

Yep, my Tracfone's the same way...have to send pics through e-mail and can't get into it via filesystem or anything else.

Unless the phone has an SD Card, to which you can enable the phone to act as a USB Storage Device, you'd need the exact and specific device driver modules for that phone built and loaded with the kernel.
