slack 8.1 config question

Hi, I just installed slack 8.1 and at the end of the install I was asked whether I wanted to have (i think)a frame buffer console or standard. I picked the console with tux and when it boots tux sits above it. Anyway the font is really small and I was wondering where to go and edit or how to so I can get the font for the console to get bigger. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.:D

If you want to change the resolution your installation set, check your /etc/lilo.conf file. In it, you will find information about the vga variable regarding kernel booting resolutions. In short, all you need to do is change the resolution value code of the vga variable, re-run lilo (i.e. /sbin/lilo), and reboot.

If you would like more information regarding framebuffers, you can check /usr/src/linux/Documentation/fb directory. In it you will find more information about framebuffers.
