slack 14 RCx w/ ATI RADEON deskboard HD 7750 (boot bugs and panics)

A lot of tests in bettween RCs without success . Sound conflicts in boot time with new udevd system...

Looking like ATI audio/hdmi conflicting with motherboard audio

Provide more informations about this issue as soon we can taste final release

You can try the generic kernel with an initrd. The huge kernel can cause some of your problems.

The same using generic kernel.

In downgrade 13.37, its work fine using open and proprietary drives.

RCx sometimes get login and its install catalist successfully, but problems persist in next reboot.

On a slack current using kernel 3.3.5 there are no issues with a HD7850; I never tried with the stock kernel.

Abstradelic, did you blacklist the native kernel Radeon modules?

Often a kernel update can solve some issues, but not always.
