Slack 14.1 x86_64 LLK Issues
Hi all,
I am using the latest linux live kit with the latest slack release. I built a very basic base system and ran the 'build' script. I am getting an error listed below in the 'initramfs_create" script: find $INITRAMFS -name "*.ko.gz" | xargs gunzip + xargs gunzip + find /tmp/kiosk-initramfs-9314 -name '*.ko.gz' -gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file That seems to be the only error generated but the script continues and generates the ISO. When I try to extract the initrfs.img it tells me its not recognized and a gzip or cpio file. I tried booting the ISO and I get the following error from syslinux: -ERROR: No configuration file found -No DEFAUL or UI configuration directive found! Can someone shed some light on this issue? Thanks! |
The modules it's looking for don't exist, must be optional kernel modules, the error was a red herring. The issue with booting was "I didn't read" properly the instructions. For a CD, you need to rebuild the isolinux binary, a script is included to do this for you.
