Slack 10 mounting, sound, and flash issues

Problems 1 and 2 solved.

3. Flash player keeps telling me directories don't exist when I know they do, so it won't install. I type the path to a plugin directory and it says the path is invalid.

4. My fonts are not antialiased. Some of them were when I first installed, so I turned on antialiased fonts in the KDE Control Center, but now none are antialiased. They're really ugly. Here is my fonts config:

<?xml version="1.0"?><!DOCTYPE fontconfig SYSTEM "fonts.dtd">
<fontconfig>
<match target="font" >
<edit mode="assign" name="rgba" >
<const>rgb</const>
</edit>
</match>
</fontconfig>

5. Will NVidia's 1.0-5336 drivers install on Slackware now that it uses X.org instead of XFree86?

Thanks, now I have access to HDA2. Also I fixed my sound.

my contribution on question #3:

you don't really need to use the installer... you can simply put flashplayer.xpt and libflashplayer.so in your plugin directory... for example: /usr/lib/mozilla-1.4/plugins/

by the way, you shouldn't remove the questions you asked in post #1 as they get answered... removing them makes it more difficult for someone else in the future to understand what was being asked on this thread...

Ok I have everything working but the fonts and the sound is crackely. Could I import sound settings from Debian?

Also, I can't print from any application that isn't part of KDE. For example, I can't print from Mozilla or OpenOffice.

Ok, fonts are fine now. Still sound and printing are messed up.
