Slack 10.2 RAID1 and quota problem

I have a 2.4.31 based system, wich disks are organized in RAID1 (mirroring).Trying to test the quota support by "modprobe" the answer is:

root@darkstar:~# modprobe quota_v2
Warning: loading /lib/modules/2.4.31/kernel/fs/quota_v2.o.gz will taint the kernel: no license
See http://www.tux.org/lkml/#export-tainted for information about tainted modules
Module quota_v2 loaded, with warnings

if i give an "insmod quota_v2" the command seem ok but after a reboot the system try to upgrade the hdd's superblock and freeze (i must use a "slax" mini-CD to recovery and editing by hand rc.modules).

Anyone has esperience of this or knows how to give me a solution?

thans anyway!

Slack4ever

Nicola, from Italy (sorry for my english )
